Note: Due to the manufacturing tolerances of the rack box spacing, racks with plastic boxes might not have enough room to fully insert the Rack-Back tool in all the box locations.  If the tool won't fit, try the box below and it should fit.  Cardboard boxes have more space above the box, so the Rack-Back should fit in every box location.

How Rack-Back™ Works

  1. Lift rack until desired box is above rim of Dewar
  2. Simply slide Rack-Back™ between shelf and top of box that is below your box far enough so that it spans the neck tube of the Dewar. Make sure you insert the tool from side to side, not back to front.
  3. Set rack back down - Rack-Back™ holds the rack tower in position
  4. Remove the locking rod - access your samples
  5. Replace box and lock rod
  6. Lift rack - slide out Rack-Back
  7. Lower rack back into LN2 Dewar
  8. Secure Rack-Back™ on handle of Dewar for storage
